About the role...

We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver with MR or HR Licence to support our increased volume at our Townsville factory.  Day shifts are available on a permanent full time basis after a successful 6 month probationary period and there is room to grow into leadership positions.

The roll involves loading of glass product and delivering out of town north to Cairns and south to Mackay overnight for the right candidate. Some local Delivery's are required. Dispatch duties involve loading of glass product onto stillages for supply locally and/or collection by external freight suppliers.

Shed work is required with Warehouse duties, Forklift licence and crane experience while not essential is advantageous.

Other opportunities exist from Delivery and warehousing duties to cutting and processing glass using hand tools, automatic cutting machines and glass toughening furnaces.  Working in a friendly and supportive environment, reporting to a Team Coordinator, you will work across a variety of equipment to meet production targets.  You will be provided with properly structured and regulated onsite training, including but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Unloading glass
  • Racking glass
  • Quality checking
  • Assisting loaders with orders for trucks
  • Assisting in warehousing duties
  • General housekeeping maintenance of the work space
  • Delivery of Glass Product
