People & Talent Acquisition Project Delivery Lead

About the Role

As part of a harmonisation of People Services and Talent Acquisition we will be appointing this fixed term role to partner with the Head of People Services & Talent Acquisition. You will co-design, develop and execute on a new talent acquisition strategy and model, conduct a People Services functional review, and a refresh of procedures and governance for this centre of expertise.

This role will suit a highly motivated and engaging individual with strong project management, compliance, governance, design and delivery expertise across Talent Acquisition and Shared Services.

Duties

• Lead and implement the COE process and governance design and delivery work.
• Co-design the talent acquisition strategy and model design options (structure, service levels and financial envelope).
• Prepare business case in concert with manager and General Manager and seek approval.
• Lead project delivery for model implementation and support change management initiatives.
• Lead process and guideline development for Talent Acquisition services and products and key process and delivery items for People Services (Shared Services).
• Work with stakeholders in a proactive and collaborative manner to inform design and strategy elements. Consult widely.
• Project manage the review of People Services governance and procedure improvement work. Facilitate RACI and role clarity work to clearly identify work flows and ownership.
• Revisit and develop operational metrics and monitor for the function building on current technology and reporting methods (Success Factors, Page Up and Service Now).
• Develop and recommend methodologies to uplift and streamline processes between TA and PS with a particular focus on accurate onboarding and employee data governance and offboarding. Seek ways to reduce manual work and opportunity for errors. Seek ways to streamline procedures and reduce duplication.
• Build the supports required for ongoing improvements in people experience outcomes across this new formed COE.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant tertiary education in a people related discipline, or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through extensive practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to project manage challenging interdependent programs and initiatives with multiple, invested stakeholders.
• Able to analyse complex issues, problem solve, develop business plans, and implement comprehensive strategies.
• Thinks commercially and systematically with proven ability to think outside the box and provide creative solutions.
