Want to contribute to creating a climate-ready city? We're looking for a proactive and talented individual to join us as Policy Officer in our Adaptation and Resilience Policy team.

In this role you will have the opportunity, as part of a small team, to make an impact through supporting ongoing policy design, development and delivery to prepare our city for climate change and its impacts, particularly in relation to our urban and built environment.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications or experience in climate change adaptation policy, climate adaptation of the urban and built environment, or urban planning would be highly regarded.

Notes:
This is a temporary position available immediately up until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. This position will be based in the ACT Government's Dickson Office Block which is designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT with flexible start and finish times.
