Job Description
So, what will your new role look like?
We're looking for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our APAC Channel Sales Team. Your mission? Empower partners and enterprise clients by helping them unlock the full technical value of ShareGate. You'll play a key role in driving product adoption, enabling success, and delivering a consistently exceptional experience.

You'll act as the primary technical point of contact for our channel partners—offering consultation, enablement, and insight that leads to long-term growth. You'll work cross-functionally, solve complex challenges, and ensure that our partners are confident and equipped to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the go-to technical expert for APAC partners for both pre-sales and on-going partner success;
  • Deliver training, product demos, and enablement sessions to help partners grow their ShareGate expertise;
  • Support partners with upgrades, integrations, and implementation projects;
  • Facilitate regular business and technical reviews with partners to identify opportunities and risks;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay partner feedback and contribute to product strategy;
  • Proactively identify ways to drive greater product adoption and long-term success;
  • Represent ShareGate at partner meetings, industry events, conferences, and webinars.

A typical week?

  • Conducting enablement workshops and product demos;
  • Providing technical support for complex partner questions;
  • Collaborating with Product, Marketing, Channel, and Support teams to align on enablement strategy;
  • Attending virtual or in-person meetings with partners;
  • Documenting insights to inform future roadmap and engagement plans.

What does your future team look like?
You will get it on the ground floor of the APAC Channel Sales team and be joining the Global ShareGate Channel team a well-rounded, high-performing unit that blends deep industry knowledge with technical and commercial expertise. The Global team is comprised of:

  • Five Channel Account Managers with strong migration software experience and trusted partner relationships (2 EMEA, 2 North America, 1 APAC);
  • Three Technical Sales Specialists (1 EMEA, 1 North America, 1 APAC) with sharp technical skills, partner enablement experience, and the confidence to support complex sales.
  • Two Regional Channel Sales leaders (EMEA, North America)
  • One Distribution Channel Manager, and 1 Partner Development Manager

As a team, you'll collaborate with trust, adapt quickly to market needs, and deliver meaningful impact across the APAC partner ecosystem.

  • Scaling technical enablement across diverse countries, languages, and partner profiles;
  • Tailoring technical messaging to match evolving business models and adoption strategies;
  • Becoming a recognized technical voice in the partner and channel community.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Account Management, Sales Engineering, or Support Engineering within an ISV;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace administration;
  • Strong partner orientation and ability to manage shifting priorities;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English);
  • Confident explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Experience working independently while collaborating across multiple time zones;
  • Highly organized and proactive;
  • Comfortable representing your team in external-facing engagements;
  • Asset: Fluent in Japanese.
