About the role

At Kiddie Academy, we are seeking passionate and dedicated Childcare Educators to join our team in Mudgee, NSW. As a Childcare Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the children in our centre. Our Childcare Educators work full-time to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment that supports the holistic development of every child in our care.

What you'll be doing

  1. Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
  2. Providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional wellbeing of children
  3. Observing and documenting children's learning and development to inform individualised learning plans
  4. Building positive relationships with children, families, and the broader community
  5. Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and safety
  6. Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your practice

What we're looking for

  1. Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and Early Childhood Teacher.
  2. Experience working in a childcare or early learning environment, with a demonstrated ability to engage and support the development of children
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  4. A deep understanding of child development and the ability to create learning environments that cater to the unique needs of each child
  5. A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care
  6. A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate
