Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Miniroos Technical Director, based in the Greater Melbourne Area. The Miniroos Technical Director will oversee the development and growth of the Miniroos program, lead and manage coaching staff, design and implement skill-based training programs, and ensure alignment with the club's broader football philosophy. Responsibilities include planning sessions, ensuring player development, organizing activities and events, and maintaining regular communication with staff, players, and parents.

Qualifications

  • Strong Team Management and Team Leadership skills to guide coaching staff and players effectively
  • Background in Research and Development (R&D) and strategic thinking for program enhancement
  • Knowledge of Project Management for planning and executing training schedules and events
  • Experience in Software Development for utilizing digital tools or platforms in sports analytics is a plus
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Coaching accreditations and experience with junior football development programs are highly desirable
  • A strong understanding of football coaching methodologies and player pathways
