  • An ability to provide advice as an Owner's Engineer, Lender's Engineer or as part of a Technical Due Diligence
  • Proficiency in PSS/E and PSCAD; experience with DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSSE SINCAL is a plus
  • Familiarity with a wide range of synchronous and non-synchronous technologies, including storage, hybrids, and grid-forming inverters
  • Experience with hybrid renewable energy projects, data centre connections, and automation/Python programming
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and produce clear, targeted technical reports
  • Demonstrated success in leading connection negotiations with AEMO, DNSPs, and TNSPs

Leadership & Management Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Oversee technical delivery from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring quality and compliance
  • Mentorship: Coach engineers across all levels, fostering a culture of learning and innovation
  • Client Engagement: Lead technical discussions, shape solutions, and build trusted relationships
  • Collaboration: Work across WSP's Power & Energy teams, integrating expertise from renewables, generation, and automation
