Team Leader (NDIS) Bendigo
The role of Team Leader involves both leading and mentoring a team, as well as directly supporting people with disability when required. You will have an understanding of the dynamic nature of support work and a dedication to minimising the risks associated with the service, you will provide effective individualised and tailored supports to NDIS participants to enable them to achieve their goals.
You will do this whilst considering input from all stakeholders associated with each participant. These supports will promote community inclusion, independence, decision making, choice and control.
You will be responsible for delivering support and services to a caseload of participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
You will take responsibility for the delivery of a high quality of service, referrals, rostering, professional development and supervision of a team of Support Workers and positive participant outcomes.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in successfully leading or managing a team;
- Proven experience in achieving desired program outcomes;
- Well-developed knowledge of the Disability Services Sector;
- Skills & experience in working with people with disability;
- Ability to use initiative and handle a variety of activities concurrently and with minimal supervision;
- Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organisational, time management and presentation skills;
Current drivers Licence, including own transport

About the program:
WISE Employment (WISE) is a successful not-for-profit organisation, committed to providing quality employment, training, occupational rehabilitation and allied health services to disadvantaged members of the community through a range of programs.
Through NDIS in Victoria, WISE provides supports for participants with current funding in their NDIS plans. WISE specialises in the following areas of services and support for participants:
- Social and Recreational Activity
- Capacity Building in life and employment
School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)
