As our operations expand, we are seeking an experienced Poultry Farmer to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for agriculture and livestock management who are looking to grow their careers in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily care, feeding, and monitoring of poultry stock
  • Monitoring bird health and behaviour; identifying and treating illnesses
  • Managing temperature, ventilation, and lighting systems
  • Maintaining cleanliness and biosecurity standards
  • Record-keeping of flock performance and farm activities
  • Operation and basic maintenance of farm equipment
  • Assisting with breeding programs and hatchery operations as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in poultry farming or livestock management
  • Sound knowledge of poultry husbandry and biosecurity practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit and willing to work in rural or regional settings
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,500.00 – $85,789.60 per year
