About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Trade Assistant to join the Uplift elevators pty ltd' team in Sydney, NSW. As a Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of elevators, providing crucial support to our skilled tradesmen. This is a great chance to develop your skills in the trades and services industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the installation and maintenance of elevators and related equipment
  2. Performing general labouring duties such as moving materials, tools and equipment
  3. Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe and organised
  4. Following all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  5. Providing support to the installation and maintenance teams as required

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a labourer or in a trades assistant role, ideally in the elevator or construction industry
  2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully
  3. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks
  4. A commitment to workplace health and safety
  5. A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
  6. Must have full Australian working rights
  7. Demonstrated basic mechanical interest and aptitude
  8. Minimum Year 10 completion required
  9. P2 driver's licence or higher required for travel between Sydney sites
