About the role:

As our new Maintenance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our campuses run smoothly and safely. From testing and tagging electrical equipment to supporting classroom setups and overseeing contractor work, you'll be at the heart of our operations, making a real impact every day.

This role is ongoing full time, based primarily at our Elgar Road campus with travel required across City, Lilydale & other BHI campuses.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct maintenance testing and tagging of portable electrical equipment
• Respond to work orders and perform general maintenance tasks
• Support facilities projects and classroom/event setups
• Oversee contractor work and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Participate in audits, inspections, and proactive fault reporting

About you:

• You hold a trade certificate (carpentry, painting, tiling, plumbing or electrical)
• Relevant test & tag competency (AS 3760), with previous test & tag experience.
• Current Driver's License (Forklift licence desirable - training provided)
• You're organised, communicative, and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to great service.
• Have, or be willing to obtain, Victorian Working with Children Check and National Police Check clearance
