Commissioning Lead – High Voltage Electrical Projects

Lead commissioning on major renewable infrastructure

• $116/hr + super | Fortnightly pay

• 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth

• 6-month contract with extension potential

Take charge of commissioning high-voltage electrical systems across a landmark energy project. You'll work with cutting-edge equipment and lead a skilled team delivering substations, BESS, and solar installations.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience commissioning HV electrical equipment in mining, utilities, or renewables
  • Electrical Trade or Engineering qualifications (Cert IV in Instrumentation desirable)
  • Skilled in Omicron testing, Siemens/SEL relays, and IEC61850 protocols
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Clear communicator with excellent planning and stakeholder engagement abilities

THE JOB ROLE

  • Lead commissioning of substations, BESS, solar farms, and power stations
  • Manage daily activities of commissioning engineers and electricians
  • Resolve technical issues with vendors and project teams
  • Oversee documentation, procedures, and progress reporting
  • Champion safety and compliance across all commissioning activities
