Il Vento is a busy, vibrant Italian restaurant on the iconic Wharf in Mooloolaba. We're looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our energetic kitchen team — with the option to also pick up shifts at our sister venue in Caloundra

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong hand-stretching skills and confidence working with pizza dough
  • Experience with wood-fired ovens highly beneficial
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine is an advantage
  • Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure and communicate clearly in English
  • A motivated, reliable team player who takes pride in their craft

What the role involves:

  • Preparing and hand-stretching high-quality pizza dough
  • Managing pizza station operations during busy service
  • Maintaining high food standards, cleanliness and consistency
  • Contributing to a positive, fast-moving kitchen environment
