We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sport to lead our school-wide sporting program and inspire high levels of participation, enjoyment and achievement across all sports.

About the Role

As Head of Sport, you will:

  • Lead and develop the School's sport strategy, driving innovation, inclusivity and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of girls', boys' and mixed sports from Reception to Year 12.
  • Build, coach and support a high-performing team of coordinators and coaches.
  • Manage and deliver sporting carnivals, fixtures, interschool events, tours and awards.
  • Oversee the administration of resources, budgets, logistics and communications for the sporting program.
  • Foster links with Old Scholars and community sporting groups to provide opportunities for elite coaching and training.
  • Be a visible and active presence at sporting events, inspiring students and staff alike.

About You

You are an inspiring and highly organised leader with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Physical Education, Health Science or Sports Administration (Level 1 Sports Coaching or higher desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse sporting program or department.
  • Strong strategic planning, organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
  • A commitment to inclusive practice, student wellbeing and continuous improvement.
  • ICT and administrative skills to enhance sports delivery (Clipboard, Synergetic or similar systems).
