About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial transactions, timely reconciliations, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounts payable and receivable operations, including data entry and reconciliation.
  • Monitor and chase outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts regularly.
  • Record weekly bank transactions and ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain accurate settlement and reconciliation processes in line with contracts for both existing and new customers/suppliers.
  • Respond to customer and supplier queries promptly and maintain positive relationships.

  • Manage accounts-related emails and communication efficiently.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required.

About You
  • Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable.
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience in accounts payable/receivable or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation and financial accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organization skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must have full working rights in Australia.
