Industrial Cleaner/Trade Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workshop environment.
  • Perform general cleaning of work areas, tools, and machinery.

  • Support tradespeople with basic hands-on tasks, including:

  • Operating grinders, saws, and hand tools (under supervision).

  • Basic Machining operations
  • Painting of parts and equipment.
  • Assist with workshop logistics, material handling, and occasional supplier pickups.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

What You'll Need

  • Physically fit and comfortable doing manual labour and cleaning tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions from tradespeople.
  • LF Forklift Licence – Required or willing to obtain.
  • Experience in painting, workshop support, or operating tools – highly regarded.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Experience in industrial or workshop cleaning – highly regarded
