About the Role...

As a Trades Assistant, you are under the supervision of both CEC Electricians and HVA/C technicians installing Solar & Air conditioners into domestic homes across Adelaide.

You will be expected to perform in accordance with the required safety standards and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. Whilst your role may vary, you are typically tasked with the supervised execution of works for the following duties:

  • Supporting field trades technicians
  • Operating hand and power tools
  • Working autonomously and diligently as part of a Team
  • Assisting with installation, dismantling and clearing worksites
  • Transporting stocks, materials, and equipment to workplaces
  • Stocktaking, Cleaning and maintaining the workshop and service vehicles.
  • Operating mobile plant, forklift and lifting equipment

About You:

  • At least 1 year of experience working in an electrical, HVAC or mechanical environment as a Trade Assistant is preferred.
  • Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Preference will be given to people who reside in Adelaide.
  • Experience working within the industry would be advantageous.
  • A strong focus on safety is a top priority for us.
  • Demonstrated self-management and accountability is essential.
  • A helpful nature and a high work ethic are essential qualities.
  • High attention to detail is crucial in ensuring quality work.
  • Willingness to be hands-on and get involved in tasks as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with the team.
  • A team player who can work together with colleagues to meet job deadlines.
