Wimmera Mallee Waste Management undertakes waste collection across one third of Victoria. We are seeking the services of an experienced maintenance and repair coordinator to be based at our Horsham depot.

Ideally you have extensive mechanical and/or hydraulic experience with trucks and in the day to day coordination of a workshop or similar.

This role will suit someone looking to spend less time on the tools and more time coordinating repair and maintenance of the company's fleet of waste trucks, prime movers, hook tucks, trailers and loaders. The role works closely with the Operations Supervisor ensure the fleet is available to meet our waste collection and delivery timelines.

To be successful you will have demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with plant and fleet operators, contractors, and suppliers.

A minimum of 6 months truck driving experience is required for this position.

The successful applicant should be well presented, willing to learn, demonstrate a calm demeanor and be safety and customer focused.

Applicants will be considered with a car licence, though higher licence categories are preferred.

Occasional overnight travel may be required as part of this role.
