Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team to ensure our venues operate safely, efficiently, and at their best. This role plays a critical part in keeping our Red Hill and Seaford locations running smoothly, maintaining our buildings, plant, equipment, and grounds to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

About the oppurtunity:

  • Perform general and specific maintenance tasks, including minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and equipment servicing)
  • Schedule and complete preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
  • Inspect facilities, equipment, and grounds, identifying and rectifying potential issues
  • Coordinate with external contractors when needed
  • Maintain stock, tools, and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance across all venues
  • Support the team with operational and facilities tasks as required

About you:

  • Proven experience in maintenance or facility management
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate with team members
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to maintenance and facility management
