Common Equity Housing Ltd (CEHL) provides long-term secure housing to people with low-income backgrounds who may find full market rent unaffordable. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Coordinator to join our team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating responsive, planned and cyclical maintenance works for CEHL properties across Victoria and ensuring that all works are delivered on time, within budget and in line with Residential Tenancies Act minimum standards.

We manage a portfolio of more than 2,000 housing properties through Victoria and partner with over 90 housing co-ops to provide safe, secure and affordable housing to 5,000 co-op members, renters and the broader community. ABOUT YOU

This role will ideally suit an experienced Maintenance Coordinator with a minimum of three years' experience coordinating maintenance within the residential housing sector.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong administrative, time management and numeracy skills.
  • A relevant qualification in a trade, property management, community or social services will be highly regarded.
  • Sound working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and Privacy legislation.
  • Proven background in customer service roles requiring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Experience working with community-based organisation is preferred, but not essential.
