Inviting applications for the role of Sr. Manager, Adobe Experience Platform Data Engineer

This role is integral in enabling next-generation Martech capabilities. It plays a key role in designing, developing and optimising data pipelines and enabling Personalisation at scale by building out data engineering solutions. It supports all business lines (Bank, Super and Platforms) dealing with a wide variety of data.

Responsibilities

· Develop, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and real-time integrations between AEP and internal/external data sources, including CRM, digital platforms, and other Martech solutions.

· Design, implement, and optimise data models and transformation workflows within AEP to support business use cases and customer journey orchestration

· Analyse and transform large [un]structured datasets, collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and business users to create actionable metrics and datasets that solve business questions.

· Work with team to develop automated testing protocols and deploy tests with every release.

· Utilise an agile approach to process and structure.

· Provide expertise in query building and data modelling to ensure data is made available in a timely, scalable, efficient, and accurate manner.

· Build high-performance databases and improve data models.

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in accordance with AMP's data governance, privacy, and compliance standards.

· Implement and adhere to data security and protection practices.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant years in a data engineering, analytics or data scientist role

  • Experience working with AWS Tech stack (S3, Athena, AWS Glue, Redshift)

  • Extensive experience using relational databases and analytic tools to build data assets.

  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including Real-Time CDP, Data Ingestion, Data Prep, and/or Adobe Journey Optimizer.

  • Demonstrated expertise in the Adobe Experience Data Model (XDM), including hands-on experience modelling the customer using XDM Schemas, XDM Individual Profiles, and XDM ExperienceEvents.

  • Strong understanding of identity mapping within AEP, and proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve profile collapse.

  • Experience with Adobe Data Distiller to perform post-ingestion data preparation for real-time customer profile and analytical use cases.

  • Ability to leverage Experience Platform APIs monitor dataflows within AEP.

  • Experience in data mining and exploration to understand relationships between data assets and systems, identify problems and come to a solution.

  • Proficient in building and managing complex data pipelines and integrations (batch and real-time)

  • Experience defining testing and data quality programs.

  • Experience with API integrations, ETL/ELT tools, and customer data platforms

  • Experience working with cloud storage systems, Azure, AWS S3 etc.

  • Experience building and maintaining Power BI Data models.

  • Proven experience working and collaborating with IT delivery teams.

· Stay up to date with AEP capabilities, data engineering best practices, and Martech innovations, sharing knowledge within the team.

· Good/Strong relationship development and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of different audiences.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills that supports working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

· Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and vice-versa.

· Strong communication skills when communicating technical requirements to business stakeholders.

· Strong ability to analyse difficult problems and issues, simplify the complex and identify solutions that improves or modifies existing processes or ways of working.

· Proven learning agility with an ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.

· Capable of working in an agile and fast paced environment, work under pressure and multi-task, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands and expectations.

· A passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity

· High attention to detail, with strength and focus on data understanding, numeracy, and analytical skills.
