Role Purpose

The Site Engineer will support the delivery of construction projects by coordinating site operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards, and assisting in project management tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to develop a strong career in the civil construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and coordinating day-to-day site activities.
  • Monitor construction progress and provide technical support to the project team.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Conduct quality and compliance inspections on-site.
  • Prepare and maintain site records, including daily diaries, QA documents, and reports.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to support project delivery.
  • Assist with procurement, cost control, and scheduling activities.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with WHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a site engineering role within civil construction (preferred, not essential for graduates).
  • Understanding of civil construction processes and site management.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Current driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites as required.
