Partnering with stakeholders across the business, you'll advise on feasibility, uncover savings opportunities, and implement cutting-edge cloud cost optimisation tools. Your engineering expertise and bias for action will help design scalable, resilient, and future-ready platforms that set us up for long-term success.

What You'll Do

• Drive engineering decisions and platform solutions that align with long-term strategic architecture.
• Ensure platforms and services are designed for resilience, scalability, and performance.
• Identify and lead automation and optimisation initiatives focused on cost, availability, and efficiency.
• Oversee large-scale platform implementations from design to production, maintaining quality documentation and processes.
• Collaborate and share knowledge with engineers and stakeholders to foster capability, innovation, and agility.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years' experience in large enterprise environments, applying Agile and Lean practices to deliver complex solutions.
• Proven expertise with public cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and strong experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Solid understanding of FinOps practices and experience in cloud cost optimisation within multi-cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive change and foster collaboration across teams.
• Proven ability to consult and facilitate discussions regarding alternative approaches and to broker consensus across broad stakeholder groups
