About the Role

With the growth in our business, we are looking to appoint a Network Administrator to expand our team in Sydney.

Our number one priority as a team is to meet our partners' and customer's expectations by delivering projects and managed services with exceptional quality and on-time by actively communicating with the stakeholders.

As a network administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining networks across a number of sites and organizations. Your role will also entail troubleshooting issues with various vendors and technologies such as switches, firewalls, wireless access points etc.

Deep technological expertise with a wide range of computer systems, hardware, and software is essential for the network administrator to excel in this role and help drive our organization forward.

Objectives of this role

Assist in network design, implementation, and maintenanceProvide network support across various organizationsMaintain stable and consistent connectivity across all networksPrepare, implement, and monitor disaster procedures and recovery

Responsibilities

Maintain networks and associated hardware, software, services, and settingsRecommend, test, and implement system and security upgradesConsistently monitor and troubleshoot network stability and performanceCreate, adjust, and maintain network user settings and permissionsWrite technical support documentation for network systems and applications

Required skills and qualifications

Four or more years of experience in a network administration roleComprehensive knowledge of networking concepts and computing infrastructuresProven skills in network engineering, operations, and performance analysisExperience with various monitoring toolsStrong communication skills for training and assisting users

Preferred skills and qualifications

Experience with Fortigate, Meraki, Cisco and Aruba technologiesProfessional certification, such as CISSP, CCNA, or CCNPWorked in a MSP or outsourced team
