Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Fund Accountant, based in Sydney, NSW with some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing fund accounting tasks, coordinating financial reporting, and calculating NAV (Net Asset Value). The role includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards while working collaboratively with other teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in fund administrative field
  • Experience with preparing Financial Statements
  • Proficiency in Fund Accounting and NAV calculation
  • Year end Income Tax Preparation and liaison with tax agents
  • Quarterly BAS preparation and lodgments
  • Strong Finance knowledge and understanding
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Able to meet target and deadlines
