North Adelaide, South Australia Redpath Mining Contractors and Engineers Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year


Redpath commenced at Olympic Dam in November 2015 and this new contract will extend our tenure at the mine to almost 14 years.  We are currently seeking expressions of interest from underground mine workers who may be interested in joining us in 2025.

The Olympic Dam project was awarded Redpath Australia's Project of the Year in 2024 and achieved a record-setting 8,015m3 of fibrecrete sprayed in August 2022.

The revised scope features state of the art Normet 1,000v Shotcrete machines (operated electrically rather than diesel powered when spraying shotcrete) and the latest Sandvik DS422i Cablebolters amongst other supporting fleet.  This will ensure Redpath continues to deliver safe production into the future of Olympic Dam.  The scope of the new contract has increased significantly with the addition of the operation of an onsite Batch Plant, including a new fleet of underground agitator trucks.  The workforce has increased from 120 to approximately 200 from July 2023 when the scope of these new works at Olympic Dam increased.
