About the Practice:

This is currently a 2-doctor Specialist Medical Practice.

Dr Azeem Abdul Razak and Dr Dickson Lam are Nephrologists (kidney specialists).

Job Description and qualifications required:

The position is Casual with the potential to convert to a Permanent Part-time position (3-4 days per week).

On-the-job training will be provided.

  • Experience as a medical secretary is preferred
  • Genie Software experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent keyboard skills
  • Excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be reliable and willing to learn
  • Be flexible with availability
  • Be able to finish late (6:30 pm) at times
  • Be able to start immediately
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The successful applicant will be pleasant and easy-going in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Greeting Patients
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Phone Enquiries
  • Processing incoming Referrals, Emails and Faxes
  • Invoicing and Receipting
  • General day to day admin tasks (Scanning, filing, faxing)
