The Opportunity
At Infinite Aged Care, our Hospitality Assistants play a key role in meeting our residents' daily needs. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will work as part of the Hotel Services team, where you will be responsible for a variety of activities including food preparation and service, in room service and ensuring that the dining areas remain clean and ready for service.
The Role
- Alongside the Chef Manager - prepare and serve amazing food to our residents.
- Interact with permanent residents everyday, talking about food choices and culinary needs
- Upskill in how customising menus improves physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing that is SUPER rewarding.
- Excellent attitude and commitment to safety awareness and food hygiene practices.

This role is a physical role whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.
About You
- Practical experience in a Commercial kitchen and food handling skills either via classroom learning and/or casual employment.
- Strong workplace safety, ability to follow set procedures and be a good communicator
- Support residents around the dining halls and ensure a hazard free environment.
- Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision and 'think on your feet'.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Hard Working, flexible with good availability to cover shifts.
- Bring your genuine care and compassion to mealtimes.
