About the role

Are you passionate about boating and water safety? we are seeking a dedicated Boat and Jetski Licence Trainer to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Boat and Jetski Licence Trainer, you will play a crucial role in educating and training individuals to obtain the necessary licences for operating boats and jet skis safely on the water. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to combine your expertise in maritime operations with your passion for instructing and mentoring others.

What you'll be doing

  1. Delivering comprehensive training programs to individuals seeking boat and jet ski licences
  2. Conducting both theoretical and practical assessments to ensure trainees meet all safety and regulatory requirements
  3. Providing hands-on instruction and guidance to trainees on the proper operation of boats and jet skis
  4. Staying up-to-date with the latest maritime regulations and industry best practices
  5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all training activities
  6. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our training programs and resources

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of boats and jet skis
  2. A strong understanding of maritime regulations, safety protocols, and licensing requirements
  3. Excellent instructional and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and educate trainees
  4. A commitment to promoting safe and responsible boating and water activities
  5. Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  6. A valid driver's licence and the ability to work in Australia
