About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Company Accountant to take ownership of our end-to-end financial operations. This is a broad role offering the opportunity to shape and manage finance processes, work closely with operations and sales, and contribute to business performance.

You'll be the go-to for everything from accounts payable and receivable to reporting and compliance. This is a hands-on role in a close-knit team where your impact will be seen and valued every day.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable / Payment Processing

  • Manage the vendor database and ensure accurate payment records

  • Process supplier payments and reconcile monthly statements

  • Liaise with suppliers and support inventory-related invoice processing

Accounts Receivable / Invoicing

  • Maintain customer records and monitor debtor balances

  • Review credit applications and follow up on overdue payments

  • Work with sales to invoice accurately and resolve discrepancies

General Ledger, Compliance & Reporting

  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts

  • Prepare general journals and support month-end reporting

  • Assist with BAS, payroll tax, and compliance requirements

What You'll Bring

  • 2–3 years' experience in a similar Company Accountant or finance role

  • Degree qualified in Accounting

  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Business Central

  • Strong Excel and general Microsoft Office skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability

  • High levels of discretion, integrity, and professionalism

  • Clear communication and a collaborative approach
