Location: Ormond, Melbourne
Employment Type: Part-time (Approx. 35 hrs/week)
Start Date: Immediate start
Salary: $55,923.73 p.a. (inc. super) penalties for Saturdays

Woofers World is a well-established and trusted pet care provider located in Ormond, servicing Melbourne's inner-eastern suburbs. We offer dog walking, dog daycare, grooming, home boarding and more, supporting a wonderful community of loving pet owners and their furry companions.

We're currently seeking a warm, energetic, and organised Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This is a client-facing role that combines office coordination, animal care, customer communication, and social media content management.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, SMS, and in-person at our HQ

  • Manage bookings, schedule changes, and last-minute pet care requests

  • Check pets in and out for grooming and daycare appointments

  • Assist with on-site dog daycare duties

  • Communicate regularly with pet owners and internal teams

  • Capture daily content (photos/videos) and utilise exisiting content to contribute to social media updates

  • Support the dog walking team with timely, accurate admin

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has excellent communication skills and is fluent in English

  • Is conversational in Mandarin (highly regarded)

  • Is calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment

  • Loves animals and has experience in pet care or a related field

  • Is confident using technology and enjoys contributing to social media

  • Is flexible, reliable and a true team player

Bonus Points For:

  • Animal Care qualifications or Pet First Aid certification

  • Experience in a similar customer service or animal handling role

  • Familiarity with Instagram/Facebook for business use

  • Speaks conversational Mandarin
