Your role
Therapy Focus currently has a new Clinical Lead - Positive Behavior Support position available for an experienced Clinician who is ready to take the next step in their career.
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership and clinical expertise to enhance service delivery, professional development, and compliance with regulatory standards. The role also involves stakeholder engagement, supervision, and project leadership, all focused on driving measurable improvement in clinical quality and customer outcomes.
This is a permanent, full-time or part-time position, working a minimum 22.5 hours (0.6 FTE) per week and can be located at any of the Therapy Focus bases.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Work closely with the Team Leader on service delivery and case management.
- Work closely with key Managers to deliver clinical excellence and participate in clinical governance meetings.
- Actively support and contribute to the clinical learning and development framework, providing support & supervision to Therapists.
- Leadership and implementation of strategic initiatives and projects to support organisational growth.
What makes you the right candidate?
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a relevant discipline and with proven ability to independently apply professional knowledge and judgement when performing novel, complex, or critical tasks specific to their discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience providing clinical supervision within the relevant discipline.
- Hold a formal tertiary qualification in Allied Health such as Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Dietitian or Psychologist.
- Hold a current registration from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Must have held NDIS PBS Registration at Proficient level, for minimum 1 year.
- Strong understanding of compliance and quality frameworks with NDIS, Aged Care or community healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of accountability systems and continuous quality improvement processes.
- Ability to work in a highly productive environment with time pressures while managing multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to actively contribute to the development of professional knowledge and skills in a relevant discipline with a demonstrated ability to make positive impacts to Therapy Focus's customers.
- Have a strong focus on safety culture and willingness to always improve quality, safety and compliance.
