We are seeking Medical Reception / Administration Team Members to join our brand-new Urgent Care Clinic in Park Grove, Burnie, co-located with a General Practice.
The clinic will initially operate from 12:00pm to 10:00pm, transitioning to 8:00am to 10:00pm as demand increases. Shifts are available across 7 days, including evenings and weekends.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy healthcare environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient check-in and front desk management
- Managing high patient volumes with professionalism and empathy
- Medicare billing and administrative support
- Supporting clinicians to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
Skills & Experience
- Previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience preferred
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Current WWVP, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
