Banktech Australia is a leading provider of ATMs, POS, and cash recycling devices to the hospitality and gaming industries. With over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves on providing reliable and professional support to our customers.

Our Repair Division is looking for a skilled technician dedicated to refurbishing and repairing a variety of products with a focus on quality and professionalism. This role provides the opportunity to work autonomously within a supportive, multi-skilled team environment. It's an excellent opportunity to acquire the skills needed to repair an array of items, including cassettes, card readers, PCs, dispensers, printers, bill validators and more.

You will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and identification of issues with devices and parts;
  • Refurbishing parts (replacing worn out or fatigued gears, belts, etc.);
  • Repairing and testing parts;
  • Maintaining tools and testing equipment;
  • Complying with requirements for working with regulated gaming equipment.

You will bring to the role:

  • Knowledge of electronic and electromechanical components;
  • Basic soldering skills;
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment;
  • Experience testing and diagnosing electronic products;
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of Gaming or ATM parts is desirable but not essential.

  • Working hours: 8:00 AM to 4:06 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • On-site parking is available.
  • Product training provided.
