About us:

Whitehorse City Council proudly manages Aqualink Box Hill and Aqualink Nunawading, state of the art facilities that are leaders in the provision of leisure and aquatic services in the Eastern Region of Melbourne. 

The role:

The position will provide a high level of customer service and fitness instruction in a safe and hygienic environment and in accordance with industry standards, to assist in the improvement of patron's health and wellbeing.

The position may be required to work shifts anywhere within Aqualink Box Hill and Aqualink Nunawading's ordinary spread of hours:

  • Monday to Friday - 4.30am – 11.00pm 
  • Saturday - 4.30am – 8.30pm
  • Sunday and public holidays - 7.00am – 8.30pm

Aqualink Box Hill:

Monday 1300 – 1700

Saturday 0745 – 1045

About you:

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • Sound exercise prescription and consultation skills 
  • Ability to demonstrate and coach patrons on safe exercise methods and techniques. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills to enable positive interaction with patrons and other employees. 
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and professional approach.
