The Opportunity
As the Quality, Risk & Assurance Project Lead, a senior member of the quality team, you will deliver quality, risk & governance initiatives to support a culture of continuous improvement across Carrington. Our programs include community care, independent living accommodation, assisted living, residential care, hotel services and operations. You will provide project coordination, analysis, and operational support to enable continuous improvement and help Carrington maintain excellence in care, operating in line with best practice, evidence-based approaches, and regulatory requirements. This role is a full-time opportunity working on our picturesque campus in semi-rural Grasmere, reporting to the Executive Manager of Quality Risk & Assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Leading assigned projects within the Quality, Risk & Assurance portfolio, including managing project timelines, documentation & reporting, and supporting the evaluation of project outcomes.
- Supporting change management activities, including communication, education, and stakeholder engagement.
- Providing support during audits, accreditation, and compliance reviews.
- Remaining up to date with sector best practice and provide feedback to the Quality Risk & Assurance Executive Manager.
- Assisting the implementation of the organisation's Quality Management System and supporting continuous improvement activities
- Supporting the monitoring and maintenance of the organisation's Risk Management Framework and Risk Register.
Contributing to documenting company procedures and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
About You
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in quality, health, aged care, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality, risk or improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating projects, preparing reports, and supporting accreditation processes.
- Experience with standards, accreditation frameworks, or governance systems.
- Strong understanding of aged care regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Highly effective communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven problem-solving ability, commitment to continuous improvement, and ethical practice.
- Knowledge of risk management tools, reporting systems, and incident management processes.
- Exposure to mentoring or leading key stakeholders within a quality or compliance setting.
