The Opportunity

As an Experienced Aluminium Fabricator at Nu-Lite Balustrading, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the high-quality fabrication of aluminium components. This full-time role is based in Dandenong South, VIC, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a reputable company in the Trades & Services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate aluminium components to precise specifications using various metalworking equipment and techniques
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Operate machinery such as pneumatic punches, saws, grinders, and drilling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as an aluminium fabricator, with a strong understanding of metalworking techniques
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Skilled in the operation of various metalworking equipment, including saws, grinders, drilling and milling machines
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Relevant trade qualification in fabrication or metalworking (preferred but not essential)
  • Current Australian driver's licence
