We are a growing team in the truck customization industry located in Dandenong South, and we are looking for a qualified sheet metal fabricator with proven Stainless-steel experience. Not only will you be working on exciting welding projects, but you may also have the unique opportunity to feature on our Tv show.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

  • Strong TIG & Mig welding skills on S/S, Aluminium and  Mild steel. ( Weld test will be necessary as part of the interview process).
  • General knowledge with all the other common welding processes.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings and also be creative with the design of custom truck/trailer parts on the go.
  • Experience with all general workshop machinery. CNC press brake, rollers, Guillotine, ( Laser cutting machine an advantage)
  • Have pride in their work with an innovative and creative way of thinking.
  • Able to effectively work unsupervised and meet deadlines
  • Have an eye for detail and precision
  • Hold a current driver's licence.
  • Perform general stainless-steel polishing (Smooth out and polish out welds).
  • Basic wiring skills an advantage (Clearance lights etc).
  • Have a can do/problem solving attitude.
  • Maintain work areas clean and tidy with good housekeeping attributes.
  • Have own general hand tools required for the trade.

Preference will be given to applicants with proven previous experience and with a custom Fabrication background.

Wages are negotiable based on ability to perform required duties.

Applicant must be reliable/punctual and have excellent communication skills.
