Tell me more...Are you passionate about early childhood development? Ready for a meaningful role that combines purpose with adventure? This program is the first of its kind in Australia. The National Disability Insurance Agency has recognised the unique challenges of service provision in very remote areas and has partnered with Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service (TCHHS) to establish Early Childhood Approach (ECA) services for communities in the Torres Strait and Northern Peninsula Area (NPA).
About the Role: As an HP3 Speech Pathologist, you'll:
Work as part of a supportive ECA team to deliver family-centred, culturally responsive services
Support children aged 0-9 with developmental delay or disability to reach their full potential
Travel to and work in the Torres Strait Islands and Northern Peninsula Area (NPA), including remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Collaborate with families, educators, and community partners to provide assessment, early intervention, and capacity building

Experience or interest in early childhood development and disability
Willingness and enthusiasm to travel regularly to remote areas
