About Us

Kairos Speech Therapy and Learning is a clinic in North Ryde that provides speech therapy and occupational therapy. Our clinic is growing and we are looking for a fun, passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join us. This will be a 2-3-day part-time position. Our clinic is open from Mondays to Saturdays.

Essential criteria

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Has a
    minimum of 3 years of experience
    as a speech pathologist
  • Has a 'can-do' attitude, is wanting to learn, is passionate, flexible, honest and reliable
  • Current driver's licence and own car
  • Full and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, and attention to detail
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Able to build strong rapport with clients and their families

The Speech Pathologist role requires you to:

  • Provide both in-clinic and mobile services
  • Administer assessments and therapy sessions with clients and their families/carers
  • Administer group therapy (social skills groups, language groups, School-readiness groups, literacy groups, social pairings)
  • Complete all documentation within an appropriate time frame (reports, progress notes, other documentation)
  • Liase with other professionals (teachers, educators, doctors, allied health professionals)
