About the role
We are in our 11th year of providing great therapy in Woolloongabba. We work to provide a warm, welcoming environment for everyone, supporting a diverse range of presentations and clinical interests. Our practice is growing, and we'd love you to join us as a compassionate, confident therapist working across a range of presentations. We are committed to maintaining a peaceful, supportive work environment, and value staff happiness as highly as client success We are resolutely anti-burnout and pro-staff satisfaction.
This opportunity for permanent employment can be shaped to fit your schedule, with options for anywhere from 2.5 days to 5 days (full-time). We are open Monday - Saturday, and can accommodate half or full clinic days depending on your needs. As a guide, We would ask for 25 session availabilities for a full-time week, and 13 sessions if you are with us for 2.5 days. We ensure ample notetaking, break, and peer engagement time in your schedule.
We would love to offer our clients early sessions - If seeing clients from 7am suits you, we'd LOVE to chat. Filling the 7 - 10am timeslot would be sensational (Great coffee provided).
We would love to hear from clinicians with interests in child and family therapy, eating disorder treatment, trauma treatment and/or relationship therapy. This is not an exhaustive list, and we are open to your interests.
ABOUT YOU
- You are looking for 2.5 to 5 days per week in private practice. This may look like a combination of full (6 session) and half (3-4 session) days.
- You have experience managing the responsibilities of a private practice clinician, including seeking appropriate supervision and clinical guidance, and working within the bounds of your scope of practice.
- You value respect, accountability and humility in both your practice and in the workplace.
- You are tech savvy, able to work in a practice utilising digital services and management systems.
- You are vigilant about digital security and data protection
- You are comfortable with telehealth consulting when appropriate.
- You are AHPRA registered and eligible to provide MBS rebatable psychological services.
- You are ready and able to work as part of our private practice team, understanding that clinical, administrative and operational work is equally important in a thriving private practice. We're in it together.

Experience and qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker
- Experience working in private practice, or masters level psychology qualifications
- Membership of your chosen professional organisation (AAPi; APS; AASW) is well regarded
- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance, or the ability to obtain these before commencing clinical work
