Gladstone Central QLD, Australia Consolidated Linen Service Full time $3,760 - $6,878 per year

CLS is a commercial laundry plant located in Gladstone, servicing Central Queensland and the Bowen Basin and we are seeking motivated workers for our laundry facility.

As a production operator your main focus will be the efficient processing of linen through the production lines to the highest standard, at a fast pace.

Main shift times are

  1. 6AM-2PM    or
  2. 10AM-6PM

Monday to Friday. Some occasional Saturday work during peak periods.

Limited shifts will operate outside of these times depending on seasonal factors.

Conversion to permanent is available after a trial period, dependant on performance.

All training is provided once you have commenced employment.

Casual & Penalty Rates (includes loading)

Before 6am pay rate - $43.07 p/h

Normal Hourly pay rate- $30.76 p/h

Overtime rate (after 7.6 hrs) - $43.07 p/h

After 6pm pay rate - $43.07 p/h

Saturdays (first 3 hours) - $43.07 p/h

Saturdays(after 3 hours) - $55.37 p/h

Public Holidays - $67.68

Successful applicants must meet the below criteria:

  • Physically fit - able to do work at a fast pace, light to medium lifting, repetitive movements and standing for long periods
  • Comfortable working in a hot environment
  • Some Saturdays will be required during busy periods
  • Dependable and committed
  • Able to work positively within a team environment at a productive pace
  • Reliable transport
