Blackrock Civil & Construction is on the lookout for a local, experienced Excavator Operator to join our team for ongoing civil infrastructure and pipework projects in the Gladstone region. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around excavators up to 40T and has strong trenching and pipe-laying experience.

About the Role
  • Operate 15T–40T excavators for trenching, bulk earthworks, and pipe installation
  • Load trucks, batter walls, trim to line and level
  • Work with pipe crews to install water and sewer infrastructure
  • Maintain equipment in good condition and follow daily checklists
  • Deliver clean, precise work to production targets and QA standards
  • A high level of expericned is required and will be well renumerated
  • 12 hour days with breaks paid for
  • every 2nd Saturday
Requirements
  • Local to Gladstone region – no FIFO
  • White Card (mandatory)
  • Proven experience operating large excavators (up to 40T)
  • Strong background in trenching and utility installations
  • Ability to work safely and productively around live services and crews
  • Final trim experience highly regarded
