About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic Purchasing Officer to join the procurement team at their Head Office on the Gold Coast This position plays a key role in managing stock, supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth operations across a vast and diverse product range. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor stock levels and plan ahead to maintain suitable inventory levels
  • Ensure the uninterrupted supply of goods to the business
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Negotiate competitive pricing and supply terms
  • Assist internal teams with product queries

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Computer literate with solid system knowledge
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Industry knowledge in electrical wholesale (highly regarded, but not essential)
