About the Role:This is a sales leadership role with strategic depth, where you'll lead a team of sales professionals and play a pivotal role in repositioning operations in response to evolving regulations and a rapidly transforming homecare market. Developing forward-thinking strategies, you will ensure our offerings align with the latest industry standards and digital advancements. Your leadership will ensure Essity remains agile, competitive, and customer-focused in a complex and changing environment.
You will have the opportunity to drive category leadership across Australia, shaping the future of healthcare by influencing market direction and setting new standards for best practices.
This role is about more than just sales - it's about leading a strategic shift from transactional selling to value-based conversations, where service excellence is seamlessly integrated with product innovation. You'll be at the forefront of redefining how we engage with customers, ensuring our offerings resonate deeply with their evolving needs.
Success in this role requires the ability to differentiate through both product and service, backed by a strong command of CRM systems, territory optimization, and data-driven insights. You'll bring expertise in clinical education, field strategy, and training development, while driving a more orchestrated, insight-led service model.
What You Will Do:-
Develop and execute sales strategies for sustainable, profitable growth across aged care, home care, hospitals, and allied health.

Align offerings with the Aged Care Data and Digital Strategy 2024–2029, integrating digital tools and real-time data insights.

Lead hybrid go-to-market models that address both institutional and consumer needs.

Build strategic relationships with healthcare providers, aged care groups, and procurement bodies.

Champion value-based selling, shifting focus from price to clinical and operational value.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Digital, Customer Experience, and Global teams.

Drive performance through KPIs, CRM optimization, and scalable sales processes.

Lead tender strategies and complex contract negotiations.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer-centricity.

Mentor and develop a high-performing, geographically dispersed sales team.
You bring over 10 years of experience in sales leadership, category management, or strategic account management - ideally within healthcare or B2B environments. You have a proven track record of success and driving significant category growth. You also bring:

A bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

Deep understanding of aged care and home care sectors, with the ability to integrate digital innovation into sales strategies.

Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, influence senior stakeholders, and represent the brand externally.

Expertise in key account management, tender shaping, and contract lifecycle management.

Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities, with a high level of integrity and governance.

Organized, pragmatic, and comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments.
Experience navigating the convergence of B2B and retail channels, particularly within home care or community health settings, is highly desirable. A background in manufacturing or FMCG is a strong advantage, as is familiarity with SAP systems, including ERP, eCommerce, Sales and Service Cloud, and CPQ.
