Electrical Switchboard/Control Panel Builder

A respected electrical manufacturing business based in Yatala is looking for a skilled Electrical Board Builder to join its team. With a steady pipeline of work and a focus on high-quality control systems for commercial and industrial applications, this company offers stable, long-term employment in a growing sector.

This hands-on role is suited to a tradesperson who takes pride in precision wiring, safe work practices, and delivering consistent build quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, wire and test electrical control panels, distribution boards and switchboards
  • Interpret and work from schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Perform tasks including control wiring, panel wiring and metalwork
  • Conduct in-house QA checks and electrical testing
  • Support occasional site installations within SE QLD
  • Follow workplace health and safety standards and internal procedures

About You:

  • Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, or switchboard building
  • Current QLD Electrical Fitter Licence
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings accurately
  • White Card, CPR/LVR certified
  • Good communication skills and team attitude
  • Able to work independently and reliably
  • Own transport to and from the Yatala workshop
