Windows Assembler – Yatala

Langs Building Supplies is a family owned and operated business, who for more than 45 years, has been supplying a full range of quality building products to our customers. We are passionate about delivering the best service and quality advice.

An opportunity has become available for the services of a number of Labourers within our Windows Department based at Yatala.  We are seeking a number of self-motivated, hard working people to join this team.The role is 38hrs a week Monday to Friday with occasional overtime.

About the role:

  • Manufacturing of window frames, sashes and doors
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Use hand tools such as a nail gun air and power tools and cutting machines
  • Follow safe working standards and procedures

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience using hand tools would be advantageous but not necessary
  • Read simple drawings and be able to read a tape measure
  • Ideally from assembly and/or manufacturing environment
  • Mechanically minded
  • Must be able to lift 25kgs
  • Required to lift panels of glass all differing in thickness and glass types
  • Be well presented
  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Must have the right to work in Australia
