The Role
  • Report directly to the Chef Manager
  • Serve customers and operate the POS system
  • Pack and run customer orders efficiently
  • Assist with daily food preparation to a high standard
  • Prepare sushi and other menu items — experience with sushi-making is highly regarded and considered an advantage
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and kitchen areas
  • Engage positively with team members and customers
  • Perform opening and closing duties of the store
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
  • Support the team during busy service periods
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in kitchen, food service, or catering roles (preferred)
  • Ability to prepare and cook menu items following recipes
  • Basic knife and cooking skills
  • Sushi-making experience or willingness to learn
  • Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Confident interacting with customers and colleagues
