This water infrastructure business is seeking a a detail-oriented and driven FP&A Analyst. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering accurate financial analysis, forecasts, and insights that support key business decisions. This is an ideal opportunity for someone experienced in their FP&A career who has experience in their analytical skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with exposure to all aspects of business finance.

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting & Budget Support

  • Developing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.

  • Maintain and update forecast models and financial planning templates (Example: 3 Statement Financial model).
  • Support tracking of actuals versus forecast and investigate variances.
  • Financial Analysis & Insights

  • Prepare monthly board report and quarterly Financier report with timely, accurate data.

  • Perform revenue, cost, and margin analysis to support business performance reviews.
  • Assist in scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.
  • Stakeholder Support

  • Partner with departments across the business to gather inputs and ensure financial alignment.

  • Help translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial teams.
  • Part of the Finance Leadership team in driving improvements and efficiencies across the board.
  • Process Improvement

  • Contribute to streamlining internal FP&A processes and reporting practices.

  • Support the selection of BI tool and forecasting tool.
  • Implementation of BI tool and forecasting tool.

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop effective working relationships both within and outside the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, with experience in a FP&A related roles. You will have a strong attention to detail along with a high-level strategic mindset. You will have strong Excel skills and understanding of financial modelling and forecasting, together with familiarity with financial systems or BI tools (e.g., Accentis, Infor LN, Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
