You will fit this role, if you are someone who is good at engaging with clients, be able to continuously be able to keep them engaged by talking to them and also manage sudden changes in moods.

An interest in talking about Working on and Modifying Cars, Motorcycles etc will be useful. Must be good at proactively engaging with the client to keep them occupied.

YOUR ROLE

To provide support to participants as required such as:

  • Grocery Shopping with Participant
  • Going out for community participation
  • Talking and engaging with participant
  • Domestic Cleaning

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:

  • MUST have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • MUST have your own car and comprehensive car insurance
  • Full and Clean Australian Driver's License
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Qualification or Studying Disability/Nursing/Social Work/similar OR has equivalent experience
  • Working with Children Check (must be employee card, not volunteer)
  • First Aid Level 2 (current)
  • CPR (current)

We are a Registered NDIS Service Provider servicing all Melbourne Areas. We specialize in Disability Support Worker Services and we strive to make a difference to the Community and its People through our team of dedicated Support Workers.

In this job, you will be working with participants 1-to-1

Please note, we are not a RESIDENTIAL CARE CENTRE/UNIT. You will work at the participant's residence and provide 1-to-1 service.
